Step inside the apothecary for a little old-fashioned Christmas magic.
Join us for a cozy afternoon at The Green Goddess Studio, where we'll gather around the worktables to create a collection of botanical preparations inspired by the scents, spices, evergreens, and traditions of the holiday season.
Together, we'll craft two Christmas foaming hand soaps, each scented with beautiful seasonal aromatics, and make a generous 2 oz Balm of Gilead Winter Skin Stick using our own hand-harvested balsam poplar buds, locally sourced beeswax, and botanical-infused oil—a wonderfully simple preparation for protecting and nourishing winter skin.
We'll also visit the botanical blending bar to create your own Christmas simmer-pot blend, layering dried citrus, apple, cranberries, warming spices, rosemary, and locally gathered spruce to fill your home with the scent of the season.
And because no old-fashioned apothecary Christmas would be complete without warming spices, you'll take home a beautiful package of organic mulling spices, along with instructions for preparing your own mulled wine or cider and a little of the fascinating history behind this centuries-old winter tradition.
Finally, you'll choose one full-size Green Goddess Christmas Room Perfume to take home—Solstice Spice, Boreal Breeze, or Frost & Fir—crafted with essential oils and perfumer's alcohol to bring the scent of a botanical Christmas into your home.
Throughout the afternoon, we'll talk about the botanicals, aromatics, traditions, and preparations we're working with while enjoying hot mulled cider in the studio.
You'll leave with an armful of beautiful handmade preparations for your own home—or perhaps a few you'll be willing to tuck under the tree.

Please note that workshop materials and ingredients are prepared in advance for each participant. Because of this, cancellations within 48 hours of the workshop are non-refundable. You're welcome to send a friend in your place if you can't attend. If The Green Goddess must cancel due to weather or illness, full refunds or credits will be issued.
