The Green Goddess Recycling Program

At The Green Goddess, we believe beauty should never come at the cost of the planet. That's why we created our Recycling Program - a simple way for you to return your empty glass jars and bottles so we can give them new life. Since our local community no longer offers glass recycling, your participation helps us reduce waste and prevent glass from ending up in the landfill.

1. Best Option - Farmers Markets & Workshops

Please bring your clean, empty jars and bottles to us in person at the Peace River Farmers Market or one of our Workshops. This gives us a chance to thank you directly and makes the return process quick and straightforward. We're here to chat, share, and answer any questions you might have about our sustainability commitment.

2. Retail Partner Drop-Offs

You can also leave jars at one of our participating retail partners. Please be sure your jars are thoroughly washed with hot, soapy water or run through a dishwasher before returning. Jars must be free of any product residue to be accepted. 

Friendly Reminder: We cannot accept jars that still contain old product, hardened salve, or sticky residue. These cannot be adequately sanitized, which delays the recycling process.

When you return a jar, we don't just put it straight back into production. After you've cleaned your jars at home, we spot-check each one and then run it through our commercial dishwasher for sterilization. This ensures every jar is thoroughly sanitized and safe to be reused for our skincare products. 

Each clean jar or bottle you return earns a stamp on your Green Goddess Loyalty Card. Once your card is full, come visit me at a market or workshop to redeem your choice of:

• a FREE lip balm, or

• $4.50 off your next purchase

By participating in our Recycling Program, you're not just returning jars - you're helping us live out our values of being Ethical / Organically Focused/ Earth-Friendly. Every jar that's returned is one less jar in the landfill, and one step closer to a circular, sustainable future.
